We are Fee only Advisors. Our Investment Management clients pay a quarterly fee based on the value of their assets under management. Financial Planning and Financial Consulting services are offered on an hourly fee basis.

We devise a mix of stocks and bonds that suit your unique risk tolerance, age, and need for liquidity. Currently we look to diversify your stocks among large and small, value and growth, U.S and Foreign, thus reducing volatility. We believe that diversification is the only antidote for today’s uncertain times. We rebalance your portfolio by selling what has grown and putting that cash into the asset classes that have produced the least. In the past, over the long term this has increased returns. We also offer unique investments through private money managers and Dimensional Fund Advisors. (DFA Funds)

Fixed Income is always an important part of an investment portfolio. Nothing protects you more when the stock market drops than bonds. With interest rates at historic lows, we have been using preferred stocks, good quality high yield and global bond funds to increase our client’s yields.

That’s a great question! Returns in different types of investments tend to change but one constant is investment fees. The lower the fees the more money you will be able to keep in your pocket.

Alternative Investments are favored mainly because their returns have a low correlation with stocks and bonds. (They do well when traditional investments do not) While the small investor may be shut out of some alternative investments like hedge funds, real estate and commodities such as precious metals are widely available.
